AI and the shape of work
AI is most useful when it clarifies the structure of work without obscuring where judgment belongs.
The useful question about AI-assisted work may be less about replacement than about shape. Where does attention collect? Which steps are repetitive, which are ambiguous, and where does judgment carry the greatest weight?
A good workflow makes those distinctions visible. Assistance can help with comparison, retrieval, and the first organization of material. Framing, interpretation, and responsibility should remain legible throughout.
